On WrestleMania weekend he was still celebrating the biggest victory of his WWE career – now Nash Carter has lost his job due to explosive revelations.
On the first day of the mega-show WrestleMania he celebrated his biggest victory in WWE so far – now he is facing a shambles.
Nash Carter (real name: Zachary Green) of the duo MSK, who dethroned the German-Italian duo Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner as tag team champions of the NXT squad on Saturday, has been fired, according to coinciding media reports.
This was preceded by serious accusations from his ex-wife Kimber Lee, who is also active in wrestling.
Nash Carter loses job – among other things because of Hitler photo
Lee posted a photo on Tuesday of a facial injury that Carter allegedly inflicted on him with a punch a year ago.
In addition, she accused him of “psychological abuse” and manipulative behaviour and “countless” statements against homosexuals and other minorities. She also posted a picture of her ex-husband giving the Hitler salute and showing off a matching beard. The timing and context of the picture remained unclear – that Carter could hardly give an explanation for the picture that would save him from being fired was anyone’s guess.
The case is reminiscent of the #SpeakingOut craze that followed #MeToo: In the summer of 2020, various wrestlers from WWE and other leagues had stumbled upon allegations and specific revelations of scandalous treatment of women.
MSK twice Tag Team Champions at WWE NXT.
Carter was signed by WWE at the end of 2020 along with partner Lee, the two had made a name for themselves in smaller leagues as The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz & Desmond Xavier).
As MSK, the pair were twice champions of the NXT roster, most recently on Saturday’s Special Stand & Deliver in a three-way match with the now arguably separated duo of Barthel and Aichner, as well as The Creed Brothers. They were still featured on this week’s TV show on Tuesday, and a match against Grayson Waller and his bodyguard Sanga was announced for next week.
Lee is not affected by the dismissal, but the break from the established team will not make his career path any easier. When and how new champions will now be crowned is still unclear.
