After a poor season, Watford FC are relegated from the Premier League – and have to let 27 players go as a result.

Watford FC’s squad planners are facing a real mammoth task!

After the relegation of the English club from the Premier League, those responsible have to part with a total of 27 players, as reported by the Sun.

Among others, Nicolas N’Koulou, Juraj Kucka, Andre and Ben Foster have to leave the club immediately, as their contracts are not valid for the Championship.

Furthermore, a total of 19 players of the U23 are dismissed, as well as four players of the U18. The most prominent victim of the relegation is 21-year-old Maurizio Pochettino, son of PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino.

With a total of 23 points in 38 games and a clear gap to 18th place, Watford FC were relegated to the English second division after a poor season.
