To take a stand against discrimination, hate speech and cyberbullying, the European Football Union (UEFA) on Wednesday put the five-part documentary series “Outraged” online on the streaming platform www.uefa.tv.
Current and former professional footballers talk about their experiences of exclusion, including Ruud Gullit, Paul Pogba, Megan Rapinoe, Jorginho, Patrick Vieira and Kai Havertz.
“Football is the perfect mirror of our society, Exactly why we have a big, important role to play. We have to act now, otherwise it will be too late,” said former French international Vieira, currently team manager in London at Crystal Palace.
