As Europa League winners, Eintracht Frankfurt are seeded in lottery pot 1 for the Champions League. As of now, however, they still face top opponents.
By triumphing in the Europa League, Eintracht Frankfurt has secured qualification for the Champions League next season.
Alongside FC Bayern, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen, the SGE is now the fifth team from the Bundesliga to qualify for the top flight – something that has never happened before!
As EL winners, Frankfurt are even seeded in lottery pot 1 – alongside the champions from Europe’s top six leagues and the new Champions League winners (Liverpool FC or Real Madrid).
Chelsea, Barca and Juve possible Frankfurt opponents
Bayern (Germany), Real (Spain), Paris Saint-Germain (France) and FC Porto (Portugal) are already fixed. Liverpool and Manchester City will join them from England. In Italy, Inter and AC Milan will determine the champion.
