Setback for the Phoenix Suns: The NBA’s top team will have to do without superstar Devin Booker for the time being. The guard suffered a thigh injury in Tuesday’s 114-125 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans in the second playoff game and will be out two to three weeks, according to ESPN.
Booker, who will thus miss at least the next two games of the best-of-seven series, is the Suns’ top scorer, averaging 26.8 points per game.
The Arizona team had its best regular season ever with 64 wins and is aiming for its first NBA title in history. Last year, Phoenix made it to the finals, but the Milwaukee Bucks prevailed.
