Everton star Richarlison faces trouble!

The English Football Association (FA) has announced investigations after the Brazilian’s misstep. According to British media reports, he could be handed a ban of up to three games. However, he may get off with a fine.

Richarlison had thrown a firecracker back towards the crowd on Sunday after it flew in his direction from the stands and came to rest on the turf after he scored the winning goal to beat Chelsea FC 1-0.

The 24-year-old is battling relegation from the Premier League with the Toffees. Everton are 18th with five games to go in the season.

A spokesman for the club said of the incident involving Richarlison: “We will investigate the matter. But as far as we are concerned, Richarlison tried to throw the torch off the pitch.”
