To mark its tenth championship, PSG is launching a new jersey for a short time. A small sparkling detail makes the difference.

With an unassailable lead over Olympique Marseille, Paris Saint-Germain secured the French championship for the tenth time in the club’s history just four matchdays before the end of Ligue 1.

To mark the milestone, PSG have now unveiled a collector’s jersey adorned with a star above the club’s crest. In doing so, the special edition is available as a home and away variant. According to official information from the club, the jersey will be worn by the star ensemble in the remaining games of the season, starting with tonight’s away game in Strasbourg.

The jersey will be “available everywhere in the world until 21 May,” PSG further states in the release. Supporters would have to pay €140 to obtain the memento of the capital club’s tenth championship win.

Will the star stay?

It is still unclear whether such a star will also be seen on the chest of Lionel Messi and Co. in the coming season. According to reports from Le Parisien, the production of jerseys without star decoration for the coming 22/23 season has already begun.

The report goes on to say that PSG will only add the star if they win the Champions League.

The new collection includes clothing as well as accessories to celebrate the success.
