Sergio Ramos makes only his sixth appearance in a PSG shirt on Sunday. The fans acknowledge his substitution with a concert of whistles.
Sergio Ramos is having a season to forget at Paris Saint Germain.
On Sunday, the leggy centre-back made only his sixth appearance for the Parisians after almost three months off, having missed almost the entire season due to a persistent calf injury.
Ramos’ long period of suffering
He was substituted on 72 minutes in the 5-1 win over FC Lorient and was greeted with a peal of whistles from PSG supporters. Whistles could also be heard from the stands every time he made contact with the ball.
Since the memorable eighth-final exit in the Champions League, fans have generally not been well disposed towards their team. Before that, superstars Neymar and Lionel Messi had to endure whistles.
