Nasser Al Khelaifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain, is clear with LaLiga boss Javier Tebas, refusing to interfere. With Kylian Mbappé, he doesn’t believe in the money argument.

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has told off LaLiga boss Javier Tebas – and refused to interfere further in the Parisians’ affairs.

“Who is Tebas? I don’t know this person. It is not our style to interfere in the affairs of other clubs, other leagues or federations. But I will not accept others giving us lessons,” Al-Khelaifi explained in an interview with Marca.

He said he didn’t care “what they say, this has been talked about for years. We have a football project to build and we have to move forward with that. We don’t worry about everything that comes out in the media because we can’t waste time with everything,” the 48-year-old said.

PSG boss: Real “a great club”

Meanwhile, he has “great respect” for Real Madrid. It is a “great club”. The fact that Kylian Mbappé decided to extend his contract with PSG and thus against the Royals has nothing to do with money.

The reason: “Madrid’s offer was better than ours. There were other clubs in England besides Real that wanted him, but he chose PSG. We didn’t talk to him or his family about money until the last moment.”

Instead, he says, the 23-year-old is “interested above all in the project, football and sport. He’s Parisian, he’s French, and he wanted to stay here to represent his city and his country, his club, and what was said about him isn’t fair. For them, money is not the most important thing”.
