Manuel Neuer is absent from national team training and has physical problems. Flick talks about the Bayern keeper’s deployment in the Nations League.
The German national football team trained without Manuel Neuer on Tuesday.
At the German Football Association (DFB) campus, the Bayern Munich goalkeeper was absent at the start of the preparation for the Nations League matches against Hungary and England due to problems with his big toe.
“I think he will be back on Wednesday,” said national coach Hansi Flick.
Thus, a deployment against Hungary on Friday in Leipzig does not appear to be in danger.
Thilo Kehrer (West Ham United), Matthias Ginter (SC Freiburg), and Lukas Nmecha (VfL Wolfsburg) were spared on Tuesday because they had played two days earlier.
