The Austrian national team fought for a draw against France. The French only managed to score the equaliser shortly before the end.

Surprise in Group 1 of the Nations League!

The Austrian national team caught France on the wrong foot for a long time and in the end could be happy about a 1:1 (1:0) draw.

In the second half, the visitors came out of the dressing room with a lot of speed. Mbappe, who came on as a substitute in the 63rd minute, scored a deserved equaliser shortly before the end and even had the winning goal on his feet, but goalkeeper Patrick Pentz held on for the draw.

Rangnick’s record is impressive

Coach Ralf Rangnick’s initial record is quite respectable.

The Austrian national team picked up four points from three games, and Rangnick even managed a dream debut with Austria with a 3-0 (1-0) win over Croatia.

The Austrians are now in second place, while France are still waiting for their first win and occupy last place in the table.
