Inter Milan knocks out city rivals AC Milan in the Italian Cup. A German international is also among the scorers.

Inter Milan with international Robin Gosens has reached the final of the Coppa Italia after a derby victory.

Inter won the explosive duel against city rivals AC Milan 3-0 (2-0) and are reaching for the eighth cup title in their successful history.

The first leg was a draw. The last time Inter won the cup was eleven years ago.

The match-winner was striker Lautaro Martinez. The Argentinian gave Inter the early lead in the 4th minute. Shortly before the break (40th) he scored the 2:0.

Gosens scored in the 79th minute three minutes after his substitution to give Inter, who are currently two points behind Milan in Serie A, the lead.

Juventus Turin and AC Florence will face each other in the second cup semi-final on Wednesday. Juve, 14-time cup winners, won the first leg 1-0.
