The 32-year-old has agreed to a two-year contract worth around 68 million US dollars, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The 2018 Most Valuable Player had not exercised his option for another season with a salary of around 47 million euros in order to give the franchise financial leeway, according to his own statements. Teams in the NBA have to comply with a salary cap.

In his first season, Harden averaged 21 points, around ten assists and seven rebounds per game for the 76ers.
