The German Formula E drivers clearly missed the podium at the eleventh round of the electric racing series. In the rain chaos of New York, Porsche driver Pascal Wehrlein was the best German with seventh place. Maximilian Günther (Nissan) and Wehrlein’s team-mate Andre Lotterer missed out on the points with twelfth and thirteenth places respectively.

In the final phase of the race, a heavy rain shower had caused a red flag. Numerous drivers, including the leading New Zealander Nick Cassidy, were unable to keep their cars on the course. Race control then stopped the race, and the final order from before the red flag was taken as the final result. Cassidy thus won ahead of the Brazilian Lucas di Grassi and Robin Frijns from the Netherlands; the Swiss Edoardo Mortara continues to lead the overall standings.
