Dennis Schröder is back with the Los Angeles Lakers. In his comeback, the German national player remains without points and assists.
Dennis Schröder’s return to the Los Angeles Lakers could have gone better.
The captain of the German national basketball team remained without a point or an assist in nine minutes of action in the penultimate test of the co-record champions before the NBA start against the Minnesota Timberwolves (113:118). Schröder only grabbed one rebound.
The Lakers have lost four of their five preseason games so far. The new season in the North American professional league begins on Tuesday.
Schröder (29) had already played for the Lakers in the 2020/21 season but was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs with the team around superstar LeBron James. Shortly before winning the European Championship bronze medal, Schröder signed a one-year contract with his former club.
