The death of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has had an impact on the Champions League. One match has now been postponed.

The Champions League match between Scottish football record holders Glasgow Rangers and SSC Napoli has been postponed from Tuesday to Wednesday (21.00). This was announced by the European Football Union (UEFA) on Sunday.

The reason given was the heavy presence of police and security forces due to the funeral services for the late British Queen Elizabeth II in Scotland. Away fans are not permitted for the match, which also applies to the second leg in Naples.
