NFL professional Jeff Gladney is dead. The Arizona Cardinals cornerback died in a car accident on Monday.
The Cardinals confirmed Gladney’s death on Monday. According to the report, the cornerback died in a car accident early Monday morning US time. Gladney was 25 years old.
They were “devastated”, a Cardinals statement said. “Our hearts go out to his family, friends and all who mourn this tremendous loss.”
Gladney had been selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft by the Minnesota Vikings and was considered a great talent at the cornerback position. He was charged with domestic violence after his rookie season and was subsequently released by the Vikings. In March, Gladney was acquitted and subsequently signed by the Cardinals.
