Aleksandar Mitrović is currently in top form. The center-forward is also proving this with the national team – including a jubilee and promotion.

What an evening for Aleksandar Mitrović.

On matchday 6 in the UEFA Nations League, Serbia defeated the home team from Norway 2:0 and thus secured promotion to Group A. Mitrović provided the all-important second goal, a tally that puts the Serbian ahead of even Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

The goal against Norway marked the Fulham star’s 50th international goal – and that’s just in 76 games. In comparison: Messi needed 107 games for this milestone, CR7 even 114.

Aleksandar Mitrović is also currently in top form in the Premier League. The Serbian has already scored six times in seven games. Thanks to these goals, Fulham is sixth in the English league.

Mitrović celebrated the promotion and the anniversary with a pizza in the dressing room, as the Serbian Football Association showed in a video on Twitter.
