Just in time for the start of the NBA play-offs, Stephen Curry is about to make his comeback. The Golden State Warriors superstar is “very optimistic”.
The Golden State Warriors point guard is “very optimistic” and announced a return from his left foot injury for Sunday’s championship round opener against the Denver Nuggets.
“The goal was always to be ready for the first game, it still is,” Curry, who hasn’t played in nearly a month, said on a podcast hosted by teammate Draymond Green. The Warriors, NBA champions in 2015, 2017 and 2018, had missed the playoffs twice recently.
“I’m very excited because I know how much I like this atmosphere. I don’t want to miss anything,” the 34-year-old Curry said. The Warriors finished the regular season in third place in the Western Conference behind the Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies.
