Alba Berlin continues its winning streak in the BBL. The champions are moving ever closer to the top of the table.

Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) champion Alba Berlin clearly won the classic against Brose Bamberg and has moved closer to leader Telekom Baskets Bonn with its seventh win in a row.

After the 89:57 (41:24) victory, the Berliners have 46:12 points, Bonn (48:14) have one more win but have played two games more.

Alba shines against Bamberg

In the 99th duel between Berlin and Bamberg, the hosts already pulled far ahead in the first quarter (23:8) and had no problems with the former series champion in the remaining 30 minutes.

Alba’s best scorer was Christ Koumadje with 14 points.

For Bamberg (30:32), the defeat was a serious setback in the play-off race.

The Franconians are only in tenth place after 31 of 34 main round games, with eight teams advancing to the quarter-finals.
