Following his injury in the final of the Stuttgart tennis tournament, Andy Murray has cancelled his participation in this week’s grass-court event at London’s Queen’s Club.
He unfortunately had to pass due to an abdominal muscle blister, Murray announced on Monday evening.
The two-time Wimbledon champion does not want to take any risks two weeks before the start of the grass-court classic. Murray (35) had injured himself on Sunday in the final of Stuttgart against the Italian Matteo Berrettini and could only finish the match in great pain.
Berrettini won the final in three sets.
